American
Legion Band operates year round, playing performances at various times throughout the year. 
From summer concerts in the park to Christmas Concerts in the mall, the band provides the familiar sound of
a community band to the area. The members strive to keep alive the 150+ year old
tradition of wind bands in the Clearfield/Jefferson County area.
The band is conducted by Mr. Jack Averill. 
Jack has been dedicated to the maintenance and development of this band as well as other musical organizations
in the local area for many years.
Interested in becoming a member? Practices are regularly scheduled at 7PM,
Monday evenings at the DuBois Area Middle School band room. Come and check us
